altWe’re just a couple of weeks into the New Year and already, a new online bingo site has been launched. At Bingo Hideout, we’re pleased report that 888 Holdings parent to 888 Ladies has launched Big Brother Bingo, in partnership with Northern & Shell owned television channel, Channel 5 and television production company Endemol.  Big Brother Bingo launched just this week and joins other leading
television brands such as Deal or No Deal and X Factor, that have
considerable presence across the online gambling industry. The site has
timed the launch perfectly to coincide with the new series of Celebrity
Big Brother on Channel 5 and is bound to be very popular amongst fans of
reality television.

The vice president of bingo marketing at 888.com, Maurice Karpes, feels sure that the Big Brother brand will be a perfect match for online bingo players and that this deal ‘truly takes online entertainment to the next level’.

The Big Brother Bingo site is designed to replicate many of the features of the Big Brother house and will offer a full range of online bingo games including 90 Ball, 75 Ball and Swedish Style (5 line) bingo, in addition to instant games. The site is also planning to offer exclusive Big Brother related prizes including backstage passes to eviction nights and tours of the infamous Big Brother house. The site also plans to conduct polls on its forum regarding current and ex-housemates and these forums are also planned to become a community area for players to discuss the Big Brother television series including evictions, news breakthroughs and gossip from the house.

Promotion for the site includes a TV advert campaign which has just been released on the Channel 5 network, designed and produced by Hero Media. Channel 5 has been seen to be building up a catalogue of linked commercial tie ups to back up the Big Brother brand since acquiring it last year. Sceptics may say this is because its interest peaked years ago but current ratings would argue against this and Channel 5 is believed to be working on even more partnerships over the coming year.

The range of branded online bingo sites, linked directly to specific television related brands which are already well known is growing. Big Brother Bingo will certainly attract a certain type of online bingo player and markets itself as the perfect partner to the television show as you can watch and play simultaneously. It’ll be interesting to see how Big Brother Bingo fares as the year continues. The site sports the same software as 888 Ladies therefore if you want to know what to expect in respect of the online bingo experience, then a quick trip to play bingo at 888 Ladies will provide all you need to know.
