It’s recently been announced that Cult PR has been asked to represent Wink for what is said to be a “major advertising campaign.” Apparently, the 888-owned brand decided that the sexy strippers fitted their cheeky and flirty image perfectly. Cult PR has been coordinating a launch strategy in the run-up to the forthcoming TV ad, which included a celebrity-filled press event, and editorials that targets Wink’s bingo-loving demographic.
The Vice President of Bingo at 888, Mickey Elimelech, says that the Dream Idols/Wink campaign “has been so much fun,” and he is confident that Wink’s new and existing players will “really enjoy all the treats” that are in store as part of this new endorsement.
The press event took place on 18th March 2013 at Soho’s Angels club, which is owned by Peter Stringfellow. Guests included WAGs like Lizzie Cundy, TV presenter Gail Porter, Sinitta, Imogen Thomas, and Sam Fox, who were treated to the boys’ crowd-pleasing routine.
Of course, it’s not just Dream Boys that you’ll find at Wink Bingo, because now there’s the new Dream Jackpot game to look forward to as well. On 3rd May 2013, members of the site will be battling it out in a 75-ball special, and the lucky winner will get to take home a whopping £30,000. Players can earn free entry into the game by carrying out various actions at the site.
You can find more information on Wink’s promotions page but in the meantime, keep your eyes on your TV set, and don’t be surprised when a group of hot, muscular males pop up in the ad breaks.
