altAfter his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, the West End and Horoscope Reading Star, Russell Grant, has seen interest in his career shoot through the roof. To celebrate this, he had a chat with the guys playing at Mirror Bingo in their special Celeb Tuesday feature, chatting with players and talking all about his rediscovered success.

As a columnist for the newspaper, Grant is a perfect representative for the bingo brand and in a short video he put together with the company, you can see how he genuinely seemed to enjoy his stint on Celeb Tuesday, describing it as ‘the most brilliant time’ and then going on to talk about some of the top guaranteed jackpots that are on offer via the site.

Grant has seen his career go from strength to strength since Strictly, with his time on the show immediately followed up by a hugely entertaining five month stint at the London Palladium as the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz. Taking time out from his schedule he spent the evening with the Mirror Bingo team to discuss how he really has been invigorated by his Strictly experience.

Grant credits the show with changing his life, giving him the chance to truly transform his life and relaunch his show business career; he came to the realisation that he genuinely loves dancing and wished he had pursued it earlier. What’s more, his time at Strictly led him to realise he was ‘missing something’ as he told his fellow chatters. This ‘something’ was music, acting and singing, all parts of his career previous to moving into astrology.

In the 1980s, Grant found himself launched into a fantastically rewarding career in showbiz astrology but previous to this he had been a trained actor and singer so has relished the chance to get back on the stage. Even more excitedly, he hasn’t hung up his dancing shoes and is planning on working with his Strictly dance partner Flavia Cacace on a new project which is currently under wraps.

For now, Grant’s feet are firmly on the boards, with more theatre performance plans and also the part in a comedy film called Shafted, which is bound to be a hilarious hit. Celeb Tuesday was absolutely packed out with fans as Mirror players were treated to his fun filled personality and even a musical themed quiz to keep them on their toes. Celeb Tuesdays are a regular feature at Mirror Bingo now and you never know who could be there next.
