Virgin Games announces new partnership with Playtech

altThe Virgin Gaming Group, popular online gambling arm of the wider Virgin brand has just announced that they have formed a partnership with prestigious and award winning software provider Playtech. It seems they can’t get out of the news at the moment, with their recent eGaming awards, it’s clear that Virgin Games have seen a clear advantage in working with the well-known and respected brand.

The deal agreed will allow direct integration of Playtech games into their online gambling sites, which include both the popular Virgin Bingo site and also their regular casino. Over the next few months the integration will slowly take shape with some video slots providing the first instalment of Playtech games into their ranks. The first game that will be on offer is the popular movie based video slot, Rocky, with 25 pay lines and multiple reels as well as utilising the fantastic graphics the software company provide, it’s sure to be a success for the gaming brand as they work to develop and increase interest in their sites.

Considered amongst the largest publicly trading gaming software providers for websites, the Playtech brand is known for the offering the highest quality through its packages and will surely have a positive effect on the gaming brand. Launched in 2004, the Virgin Games company has gone from strength to strength and currently offers over 350 games on its site, including popular bingo and casino offerings. Their custom built platform allows them to combine offerings from different popular games providers including Fremantle and Cryptologic and now Playtech have been added to this list.

Speaking on behalf of Virgin Games, their CEO Simon Burridge explained that the company endeavours to provide their customers with the ‘widest range of top tier entertainment’ possible and believes this is achievable by offering a wide range of different games. He also highlights that using products from a number of different software providers is crucial to provide the widest and best quality range on the market.

Burridge also describes how this partnership with Playtech is a ‘big step’ for his company and as the coming months unfold, it’ll be possible to see how the players and customers at his site react to the Playtech games that they may or may not recognise from elsewhere.

Both these brands have the chance to capitalise on this deal and use it as a springboard for future ventures.
