It’s been a busy couple of months for Tombola Bingo what with a revamp and the launch of a whole new ad campaign. They also have a new tag line that states that Tombola is ‘Britain’s Favourite Bingo Destination’. From all this rebranding it’s clear that Tombola are very keen on setting themselves apart from all other UK online bingo sites. Since their re-launch back in August last year when the Sun left to become a site on its own, Tombola has undoubtedly gone from strength to strength and now we can reveal it’s latest move is to proceed into the realms of TV sponsorship following the likes of Wink Bingo and Foxy Bingo.
From top destination to home farm
Tombola will in fact be replacing the Littlewoods home shopping brand as the main sponsor of hit soap Emmerdale as of next month. Speaking of this latest deal, Tombola’s Phil Cronin stated, “Sponsoring Emmerdale, one of ITV’s leading brands, is a significant opportunity for Tombola. The show’s reach, the affection in which it’s held and its values of drama, fun and community make it the ideal partner for the Tombola brand. Tombola is the biggest online bingo site in the country and with this sponsorship we hope to continue to build our community of players”.
This new deal will -as confirmed by Bhavit Chandrani ITV’s Sponsorship Manager- take Tombola up to January 2011, meaning that their presence will of course be felt at the most important time of year so that player numbers are bound to increase.
Bursting the bubble of two tier bingo games
So, in the light of this potential increase in numbers, let’s take a look at what’s on offer at the site right now…. Newbies are currently invited to claim up to £25 money match when they deposit £10 and with the chance to play in so many types of bingo games from bingo90 to their newest addition bingo50, there’s sure to be a game of interest for new players and long standing fans of the game of online bingo. Bingo50 is described as being ‘poptastic bingo’. Not only is it a mix of speed bingo and has a jackpot of between £250 and £1,000 but you can also pop some bubble wrap bubbles to relieve stress while you’re in play; what could be better?
