Charlotte in her tutuThe guys and gals in the Bingo Hideout office are all inspecting waistlines after the excesses of the Christmas festivities, and proclaiming themselves to be on a new fitness regime as a New Year resolution.  The problem with all the ‘born again’ health and fitness regimes is that they exclude practically everything that makes life a lot more enjoyable, so out goes eating chocolate and cake or sitting in front of the PC playing online bingo whilst sipping a glass or two of vino.  Life suddenly becomes all work and no play and no goodies ………. Boring!

Don’t change too much, a little of what you fancy does you good!

So what can online bingo fans do to allow themselves to get fab and fit for the summer whilst still enjoying some of life’s little pleasures?  Well for a start it is worth remembering that it is fine to eat chocolate because if Wikipedia is correct then there are many health benefits to be derived from cocoa, so eating a bit of the gorgeous brown stuff might actually be advantageous  for your health.  The article on cocoa says there are benefits such as reducing blood pressure and lowering the risk of heart disease and possibly even cancer. The same goes for enjoying a glass of wine occasionally, the benefit of a glass of red wine according to Wikipedia is a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, compared to those that either abstain or drink to excess.  Therefore enjoying a little drop of splosh each evening is going to hopefully do you a lot more good than harm!

So what about eating cake and playing bingo how can we possibly legitimately include those into our new healthy lifestyles? Great news,  the Bingo Hideout gang have found a fat free chocolate cake recipe which will certainly help with following a low fat diet (details below for your cooking and eating pleasure) and the benefits of bingo?  Well just think of all that exercise you will get when dancing around the room (or the ceiling like the Wink Bingo lady) on a bingo win – see there are a whole lot of good reasons for not changing too much in 2010!  Happy New Year dear Bingo Hideout readers XX
