Bingo Hideout team are sad to report on the death of Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy, the news that Brittany aged only 32 had died of a heart attack broke in the UK late yesterday evening. Brittany now joins a growing list of celebrity deaths this year which includes icons such as Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and of course one of our own pop star celebrities Stephen Gately. Certainly the list of tragic deaths this year just seems to keep growing and growing and none are more sad than a young star at the peak of their career who is taken seemingly well before their time.

Brittany Murphy who embarked on her acting career at the age of 14 has spent the vast majority of her adult life in the celebrity spotlight. Brittany will be remembered for her roles in films such as Clueless and Sin City and has even toyed with pop stardom in 2006 with a song called Faster Kill Pussycat. Brittany’s husband Simon Monjack was reportedly not at their shared home at the time of her death. The emergency call was made by Ms Murphy’s mother who is reported to be the person who found the actress collapsed in the shower in a state of unconsciousness. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the actress but she was sadly pronounced dead at the Cedars-Sinai hospital. There is expected to be an autopsy to find the cause of death, though it has been reported widely that Brittany’s death has been attributed to a cardiac arrest.

There are a flood of tributes being placed on social networking site Twitter from celebrity pals who have been shocked to hear of Brittany’s death. Tributes from stars such as former boyfriend Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan have all posted tweets on Twitter.
